yo, L just texted me saying her profesor said Obama's coming to Penn State in April. Ahhhhhhh. We'll see if its true...He might be the one of the only people that would make me star struck. This man is my hero. After reading Dreams From my Father this summer, I instantly felt connected to him (being mulatto and all). But while we're on the topic...this Rev. Wright and race thing is making me mad. First of all...only YOU can speak for YOU. Just because someone you're friends with says something, it doesn't mean you neccisarily agree with it. I have friends that do/say things I don't agree with. Secondly, Obama doesn't know what it's like to be a "black man in America" like Rev. Wright quoted. He's not even black. His father was African. His mother (that raised him) was white. Don't get me wrong, he definitly does know what its like to experience things as a non-white...which is very, very similar to black. AND most importantly...Obama wouldn't knock white people the way Rev. Wright would OBVIOUSLY because his mother is WHITE! ugh.
